Bob Skilton

Bobby Skilton was chosen by the Sydney Swans Football Club as its player to be included on the inside of the Sydney Swans Stamp Booklet.

He was a rover who played 238 games for South Melbourne, kicking 403 goals between 1956 and 1971. He was South's captain from 1961 to 1971 and coach from 1965 to 1966. He won their best and fairest on nine occasions and won three Brownlow Medals in 1959,1963 and 1968. He coached the Melbourne club from 1974 to 1977. 

On 27th September 2004 Australia Post issued a Souvenir Stamp Sheet to commemorate the Eagles first Brownlow Medal. First Class Collectables also released covers to celebrate Triple Brownlow Medalists Bobby Skilton.
