Miniature sheets of the 5 Postage stamps and the 3 Airmail stamps were issued
with and without perforations.
On the 8/2/1957 the stamps were overprinted with “ASSISTENCIA
REFUGIADOS HUNGAROS 1957 + 2c” surrounding a Red Cross, to aid Hungarian
Refugees. The Miniature sheets were overprinted with “PARA LAS VICIMAS DE
LA RECENTE BARBARIE COMUNISTA + 25c” with a Red Cross and the UN symbol.
On the 10/9/1959 the stamps were overprinted with “III JUEGOS
DEPORTINOS PANAMERICANES + 2c” for the 3rd Pan American Games. |

the 1956 Melbourne Olympics and was issued on the 18/7/1957.

The central diamond contained either a
Gold Medal or
Olympic Flag.
On the first day it contained a
Dominican Flag
