2003 Grand Final
The Pies went into the Week with good form having won eleven of their last twelve matches and having bitten Brisbane in the first week of the finals.

On the Monday night of Grand Final Week, Nathan Buckley won the Brownlow Medal along with Adam Goodes and Mark Riciutto. A cover by "Coversplease" is shown below.

The Tuesday night sees Anthony Rocca being suspended for two weeks. An appeal on the Wednesday night is unsuccessful. This necessitates a reshuffle of the forward line.

On the Saturday the Magpies never look comfortable and are comprehensively defeated by the Brisbane Lions by 50 points.

A Set of 23 Souvenir Covers for the Collingwood Magpies  defeat in the AFL Grand Final was released by "Covers Please". All covers were postmarked The MCG 29th September 2002 (the Monday after the victory). 15 of the covers have the player Personalised-stamp while the other eight players did not appear on the Magpies P-stamp sheet and are on covers with an ordinary stamp.
